The Wind & The Reckoning will be shown on November 26th at the Kauaʻi Philippine Cultural Center. Tickets are available here. This movie is primarily in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi with English subtitles and tells the true moʻolelo (story) of a man named Koʻolau and his fight to remain home with his ʻohana during a time when the United States kidnapped and placed Native Hawaiians with leprosy in a colony on the island of Molokaʻi.
